Reading- We are working our unit, Plot. The students have the pattern statement and process questions in their pink folder. The must be memorizing them. The books that the students are reading are either "Bandit's Moon," "All the Way Home," or By the Great Horn Spoon." We are also doing the character bubble map from our last unit. Vocabulary test for this unit will be Thursday, January 21. The skills and performances tests for this unit will be Friday, January 22.
Math- We are working on Ch. 13, division. Our Ch. 13 Test will be Tuesday, January 26. The students must know their multiplication facts in order to do well with division. Continue to practice these at home.
English- We are working on Ch. 9, patter 3 and quotation marks. Our Ch. 9 Test will be Thursday, January 28.
Science- We are working on Ch. 13. Our Ch. 13 Test will be Friday, January 29.
Spelling- Lesson 23 Test Friday.
Bible Verse- Romans 8:5 Test Thrusday.
Phonics- Pg. 99-103 due Monday, January 25.

- My name is Ashley Bledsoe. I grew up in Memphis, TN with my incredible parents and brother. I started going to school at SBEC in the 2nd grade, and graduated there in 2003. I went to Northwest and then to the University of Mississippi where I graduated in 2007. I got married in June of 2006 to an amazing guy, Jordan, who is a civil engineer. We love to travel and have been to several awesome places! This is my 3rd year to teach 4th grade at SBEC. I enjoy working with kids...there is always something new and fun happening each day. My husband and I are members of LHBC where we are very involved.
