Reading- We are starting our next unit, Plot. The students were given the new pattern statement and process questions. The must be memorizing them. The books that the student will be reading will be either "Bandit's Moon," "All the Way Home," or By the Great Horn Spoon." We will also continue doing the character bubble map from our last unit. Vocabulary test for this unit will be Thursday, January 21. The skills and performances tests for this unit will be Friday, January 22.
Math- We are still working on Ch. 12, multiplication: 2-digits times 2-digits and 2-digits times 3-digits. Ch. 12 Test Tuesday, January 12.
English- We are starting Ch. 8, mixed patters and verb tenses. Ch. 8 Test Wednesday, January 13.
Science- We will have science this nine weeks. We are starting Ch. 12, which is very short. Ch. 12 Test Monday, January 11.
Spelling- Lesson 20 Test Friday.
Bible- Romans 3:23 Test Thursday. Class Test on the 2nd and 3rd Missionary Notes will be on Monday, January 11.
Phonics- Pg. 89-93 due Monday, January 11.

- My name is Ashley Bledsoe. I grew up in Memphis, TN with my incredible parents and brother. I started going to school at SBEC in the 2nd grade, and graduated there in 2003. I went to Northwest and then to the University of Mississippi where I graduated in 2007. I got married in June of 2006 to an amazing guy, Jordan, who is a civil engineer. We love to travel and have been to several awesome places! This is my 3rd year to teach 4th grade at SBEC. I enjoy working with kids...there is always something new and fun happening each day. My husband and I are members of LHBC where we are very involved.
